If CBCP Won't Support Duterte's Candidacy, Iglesia ni Cristo Might Possibly Do

By Alon Calinao Dy: Rumors are all over social media that many members of Iglesia ni Cristo have expressed their all-out support to Presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines, also called CBCP, did not like what Duterte said after cursing Pope Francis and the recent issue of rape joke that happened in 1989.

Many netizens have expressed their opinions about these issues as they believed that lots of targeting reports coming from TV networks are all about the negative sides of Mayor Duterte.

Rumors coming from the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) members, who are hardcore supporters of Duterte, said in social media that they preferred a true and strong leader like Duterte.

Other Duterte's followers also said that Duterte is destined to become the next president with or without the support from religious groups.

Whether the report is true or not, members from the Catholic Church and Iglesia ni Cristo are going to vote Duterte for president on May 9 as everyone has a right to exercise their own free will.
