President Rodrigo Duterte Has A High Respect For Filipino Soldiers

By Alon Calinao Dy: President Rodrigo Duterte has a high regard for Filipino soldiers when he personally visited wounded soldiers at Camp Navarro General Hospital in Zamboanga City on July 21.

This situation is different compared to former president Benigno Simeon 'PNoy' Aquino when he ignored the heroes' welcome of 44 elite SAF cops in a clash with Moro rebels last January 2015.

President Duterte personally thanked them and gave them a medal of honor for their dedicated service and great work for defending our country against enemies.

Countless times soldiers who have been wounded or died in the battle are the forgotten heroes and people do not even remember them to honor their bravery and their sacrifice.

The Mindanaoan president has shown the Filipinos that people need to respect them and always remember them for their great efforts, sacrificing their own lives for others to live well in peace.

I truly appreciate and recognize the great efforts of our soldiers as well as the kind of leadership our beloved president Duterte is giving to every Filipino and to this country.
