3 Little Angels in Sarah Inday Duterte Carpio's Womb

Photo credit: The City Government of Davao

By Alon Calinao Dy: The City government of Davao City Facebook page has congratulated Mayor Sara Inday Duterte Carpio for having triplets, a blessing from God above.

Not all mothers are given the opportunity like the presidential daughter. It may be a little scary to take good care of the 3 little angels in the womb, but God has great plans for them like any mother who gets pregnant.

Mayor Sara Inday has gained a lot of supporters across the Philippines, and she is believed to follow the footsteps if her father, President Rody Duterte, who is being supported and respected by many Filipinos.

It's too early to say if Sara Inday is going to continue in the world of politics. But Filipinos believe that she inherited the ideal characteristic of a president who is brave, sincere and honest to the roles and responsibilities.

Just like her father, Sara Inday is known to be a simple person with a big heart to the poor people. That's why she easily got the trust and confidence of a majority of Filipinos.

For now, let me congratulate Sara Inday Duterte Carpio for having triplets. Yes, it's a little bit scary but I think it's all worth it. Just stay away from stressful activities, and you'll be guided by Almighty God.

A Collection of Controversial Photos Against Marcos Burial At The Libingan ng mga Bayani

These are a collection of viral photos that oppose to the idea of late president Ferdinand Marcos Sr. burial at the Libingan ng mga Bayani. Despite the protests, Duterte administration remains firm about the final decision in order to unity all Filipinos around the world and to give an honor to the late president Marcos.

By Alon Calinao Dy: Martial Law victims and  supporters of former Aquino administration could not easily forgive the former president Ferdinand Marcos Sr. For what he did during his tenure as a 10th president of the Republic of the Philippines.

Several groups have expressed their views why late president Ferdinand Marcos Sr. should not be buried at heroes' cemetery, but till now it remains a big question mark why a favorite dog of former president Corazon C. Aquino had been buried in this cemetery.

Justice For Marcos Facebook group expressed their anger on social media why PNoy Aquino and Mar Roxas used religious groups to get the sentiments of the people especially the innocent children.

Burying Ferdinand E. Marcos only means that it's time for a national healing among Filipinos who have not found an inner peace in their hearts according to the said group.

Though reports said that thousands of people suffered from torture and killings during Marcos reign, Filipinos could not live in the remanants of the past. Nothing is going to happen if everyone will not learn to forget and forgive so that Filipinos will live in unity.

Just take a look at Japan and United States. During World War II, they became worst enemies. After the war, things suddenly changed when Americans helped them to rise again. Filipinos can still learn and correct the past if people will accept change in their lives.

Catholic Church and other religious groups taught us to forgive other people but why it is children can see the photos of some priests and sisters who were in the protests and reminding the Filipinos that Marcos doesn't deserve to be buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

It's really hard to do what the Catholic Church teaches us to love and forgive one another. Even priests and sisters have not found an inner peace in their hearts, as they could not easily forgive the late president Marcos. I think this is a bad example and I don't want our children to learn from these people who lived with hatred through the years.

Radio DJ Karen Bordador Uses Her Fame In A Wrong Way

By Alon Calinao Dy: Radio DJ Karen Bordador and her boyfriend Emilio Lim had been caught by police operatives in their condo unit in Pasig City last Aug. 13, who delivered ecstacy at various clubs in Metro Manila that worth approximately 3 million pesos.

In this report, of course, friends of Karen Bordador was shocked about the news as she used her influence in a wrong way. Until now, others can't believe that she is involved into drug trade.

However, netizens, are happy to know that police officers really did their job to catch those people who are into drugs. Big fish or small fish, it's all the same for as long as they've done criminal activities.

I don't think cops would invent stories that are not true, and people, who watched the news, saw the
marijuana, drug paraphernalia, money, and other evidences that would pinpoint them as those behind the proliferation of ecstacy at high-end clubs in Metro Manila.

Before Duterte administration, there were corrupt cops who used to invent stories without real evidences. But now, there are undercover cops who are honest and sincere in thei fight against illegal drugs.

President Duterte himself said that he would kill those corrupt cops who are into drugs. Over and over again, the president promised that he won't stop chasing criminals as long as there's still one drug lord or pusher out there doing drug trade.

Mar Roxas Opposes Ferdinand Marcos Sr. Burial At The Libingan Ng Mga Bayani

Photo circulated on Facebook, Aug. 14, 2016

By Alon Calinao Dy: Last August 14, a photo of former DILG Secretary Mar Roxas circulated on social media who was against the burial of late president Ferdinand Marcos Sr. at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

Despite the protests, President Duterte is firm about the decision to bury Marcos at Heroes' cemetery. Marcos Sr. became a president and a soldier that seems to qualify him to be buried in this cemetery.

However, protesters, said they would do something to stop the burial of late dictator Marcos who allowed human rights violations during his long reign and tenure as a president of the Philippines.

Reports said that many Filipinos want to bury Marcos at Heroes' cemetery than a small percentage of Filipinos who opposed to this decision of the current president.

Though it's not easy to heal the scars in the past especially on the part of Martial Law victims, President Duterte already called a national healing after he won for presidency so that Filipinos will have a unity against various groups who tried to divide the country.

President Duterte's decision for a hero's burial for Marcos is welcomed by a majority of Filipinos in the country. In fact, different surveys have been made if Filipinos do agree to bury late strongman president Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, and the results in favor of Marcos.

Though some reports said Imelda stole over $5 to 10 billion dollars, Filipinos today remember the great achievements of the 10th president of the Philippines when Marcos built San Juanico Bridge, Philippine Heart Center, Philippine Children Hospital, Lung Center of the Philippines, and many more that Filipinos still enjoy to these days.

Is Albuera Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr Guilty of Illegal Drugs?

By Alon Calinao Dy: Last August 10, after Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa surrendered to PNP Chief General Ronald Dela Rosa at Camp Crame, Leyte Police Provincial office recovered at least 11 kilograms of reported shabu worth 88 million pesos inside's Mayor Espinosa house.

In their search, police uniforms have been found and believed that private armed groups of Mayor Espinosa have been using these uniforms when they have drug trade.

Aside from that, other components in making bombs have been found inside his house such as ammonium nitrates, firing wires, and black powder.

Reports say that Mayor Espinoda and his son Kerwin have been operating illegal drugs for many years as they have private armed groups who operated in the whole Region 8.

Albuera Police Chief  Juvy Espinido also seized high-powered ammunition in Mayor Espinosa's houses. They recovered .45 caluber-pistol, submachine guns, grenade, and other deadly weapons.

Now the question: is Albuera Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa Sr. guilty of illegal drugs? Many people say that it's obvious with these lots of evidences they got from Mayor Espinosa, drug trade must end.

Suspected Riding-in-tandem Robber Killed An Innocent Woman

By Alon Calinao Dy: The big problem of law enforcement in the Philippines is now these criminals, who are known as riding-in-tandem robbers or killers, that continue to instill fear in the hearts of Filipinos. So, what is the solution for this?

THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT NEEDS MORE HIDDEN SPY CAMERAS

Last August 9, the horrifying event just happened. The victim named Rhem Pedrano was killed by an alleged suspected riding-in-tandem robber when the Solaire victim resisted to give her valuable victims to the robber.

Rhem Pedrano was one of the countless victims of roberry in Metro Manila. It would be better to find justice for her death and to put this killer on death row, just as what President Rodrigo Duterte said "retribution" for the criminals.

President Rodrigo Duterte is doing his best to end the battle of criminality, corruption and illegal drugs in the country. Filipinos should cooperate and understand that this fight is everyone's fight.

Perhaps, the person/people, who did this to Ms. Pedrano, was under the influence of illegal drugs. These people addicted to narcotics need more money to sustain their drug use and addiction.

The senseless death of Ms. Pedrano cannot be achieved through prayer alone, there should be a strict government who would punish these criminals that continue to rob and kill their victims. The victim's family is now in deep grief.

I would be happy to see if CBCP and CHR are willing to help the Duterte government in a campaign against illegal drugs and criminality, or if they have a huge budget, they can build drug rehabilitation centers for the Filipinos who are into drugs.

Baron Geisler Criticizes Duterte's Campaign Against Illegal Drugs

By Alon Calinao Dy: It seems actor Baron Geisler is reportedly against Duterte's campaign against illegal drugs. For Mr. Geisler, "it's been part of our economy and other great nations for centuries."

This post received a lot of reactions coming from netizens. I don't think Philippines became a great nation because of drugs. Although drugs already killed thousands of innocent lives, the proliferation of illegal drugs will never be part in our daily lives.

I understand that the President Rodrigo Duterte's fight against illegal drugs seems hard to achieve, but it is the battle of every Filipino who believes that a brighter tomorrow is reachable for everyone.

Mr. Geisler added to "help educate people nalang rather than scaring them with useless things." It's been used by our religious leaders for many years, but nothing has changed.

Drug users who usually commit criminal activities do not fear the RULE OF LAW. Nothing is going to happen if Filipinos will only pray for a better Philippines. Nothing is going to change if Filipinos will tolerate the selling and production of illegal drugs in the country.

REALITY CHECK is here. If Filipinos will not stop illegal drugs in the Philippines, many people especially the innocent children are going to suffer and die in the hands of evildoers.

I would be much grateful if these blind people do their talks rather than bashing the great initiative of our current government on war against illegal drugs, criminality and corruption.

Although I agree with Mr. Geisler in some ways when he said "stop eradicating the helpless. Lend a helping hand," I think the Duterte administration is helping every drug user to change and start a new life. It's just their addiction is killing them to return to their old bad habits.

Again, I would be much happy if I see the CHR, CBCP and those people, who complain against President Duterte on his war against prohibited drugs, building rehabilitation centers for the drug users rather than using children and other people for their futile purposes.

Netizens Slam A Girl Who Posted A Male Passenger For Not Being A Gentleman

By Alon Calinao Dy: The girl named Karla Monique Olandesca on Facebook posted a photo of an unknown guy passenger in MRT bound from North Avenue to Araneta Cubao for not being a gentleman and for not let her sit down on the MRT.

Karla turned star after netizens reacted to her post, telling something bad against the guy. She said "kung ano kina-pangit ng mukha mo, yung din kina-pangit ugali mo [what makes you less physically attractive is the same with your bad attitude."

After her post, it went viral and thousands of shares. Netizens didn't like the post after they read it. Some readers became emotional and said to have her own car rather than riding the MRT and being upset against this guy.

Despite the truth about some male passengers who did not give priority to the elderly, women, and children on public transportation, some netizens didn't seem to be happy about her online post.

Here are the comments from netizens:

According to some netizens who posted, "don't complain when you don't own a public vehicle." Perhaps, this guy is tired from his work, or maybe he wants to rest and reserves his energy, we don't know.

The said post is now making a lot of comments coming from netizens and it gets a lot of attention from the people who read it. Perhaps, on the other side, the girl is also tired from her work or getaway, we don't know, that's why she expects this guy to make a move and to be a gentleman.

I think this serves a lesson for everyone. When I was still a nursing student at St. Jude College in Manila, I've learned that expectation can only continue to hurt you if your expectation is not fulfilled. And so the best thing is, don't expect that everyone is going to be kind and nice. Because in a real life, some people are rude.

King Salman of Saudi Arabia Helps OFWs Under Duterte Administration

By Alon Calinao Dy: His Highness Saudi King Salman Bin Abdullaziz Al Saud has helped more than 11,000 overseas Filipino workers who are stranded to find work in Saudi Arabia after Philippine officials met with their representatives of Ministry of Labor and Social Development.

President Duterte has promised OFWs to take good care of them after he received reports of abuse and maltreatment particularly to those Filipino household workers.

Recently, OFWs sent a video asking for help to the new administration. The President and its representatives immediately gave an assistance to Filipinos in Saudi Arabia.

Though many OFWs went back home in the Philippines after the government helped them, some of them want to go back to the Middle East since they said they have no job opportunities in the country and they thought the future of their loved ones.

However, not only in Saudi Arabia, OFWs from Kuwait called the attention of Philippine government to stop sending household workers to Arab countries since they are the ones who constantly experience different types of abuse from their employers.

Before election, President Duterte said that he plans to create a department for overseas Filipino workers who have concerns regarding their employment status and wants to establish a system of banks which expats could channel their remittances for free or with affordable cost.

Life Of A Blogger — A Great Purpose in Blogging

By Alon Calinao Dy: I started blogging since 2014 when I realized that Filipinos need a strong and honest president like President Rodrigo Duterte. During that time I always believed that Filipinos were stronger people than corrupt politicians when came together.

Sorry to say that I hate politicians even though my father was a former politician. Although I admit that there are still honest and sincere politicians out there, being politicians nowadays seem have more money by making the lives of other people miserable while they live like kings and queens in their places.

I found myself seeing the truth about what is happening in the Philippines. The old, corrupt system of the government is trying to fix by our beloved president Duterte. It seemed impossible at the beginning but he started doing it now — fighting and cleaning up corruption.

In my beloved province of Samar, like all other provinces in the Philippines, corruption, illegal drugs and activities are everywhere from tricycle drivers to high-ranking government officials. President Duterte should send someone with the same strong personality as PNP Chief General Ronald Dela Rosa to imprison and kill all those bad elements.

I talked to several bloggers who helped our President Rodrigo Duterte as they are now happy, knowing that the President is doing the best that he can towards the betterment of our people and country. And it's a good thing that Duterte continues to inspire thousands of young Filipino people to make things right.

Life of a blogger for me is a success seeing some great changes in our country as I always admire this popular quote of Mahatma Gandhi "be the change that you wish to see in the world."

Most Filipinos know that President Duterte is a superstar on social media, by sharing and commenting in various Facebook groups, you are part of the change you want to this country. But these days, social media comes with great responsibility through creative ways to inspire your readers.
