President Rodrigo Duterte To Drug Lords: Kill Yourselves
By Alon Calinao Dy: President Rodrigo Duterte will continue to wage war against drug lords and criminals who continue to destroy the lives of innocent Filipinos. He has a new message for them, "kill yourselves."
As long as the Philippines is not free against crime, corruption and illegal drugs, Duterte won't stop chasing these criminals who endanger the lives of many Filipinos. In fact, he has more to tell to the public in the coming days as he has a wide array of intelligence from various sources.
The 16th president of the Republic of the Philippines has sworn to the Filipinos that he served everyone and not just only one group. After he named 5 generals who are allegedly involve in drug trade as protectors, the brave president warned those drug lords to stay away in the country, or else he will kill each one of them.
After Mr. President's bold statement, many Filipinos have come out to support his advocacy to end the battle of country's biggest problems to these days. Still, Commission on Human Rights (CHR) and Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) are against to the extrajudicial killings even if they are confirmed criminals across the country.
The tough-talking president was known to many Filipinos as a good prosecutor and a honest politician for many years in public service. He was also known as "man of action." When he said "stop the use of illegal drugs," one should listen and stop using the prohibited drugs because he really meant it.
The Mindanaoan president once said at the very start "the ride will be rough but come join me just the same." Duterte strongly opposed the spread of illegal drugs who destroyed th future of the children.
