Most Filipinos around the world enjoyed the exciting game as Gilas Pilipinas did not give up to the last minute for the world to see how Filipino athletes played really hard offensively and defensively.
A naturalized player and Gilas Pilipinas' Andray Blatche, who fought to the end in Gilas, was a leading scorer with 28 points, and followed by Jeff Chan who garnered 17 points against the mighty Croatia.

I suggest it would be better if Gilas coach Chot Reyes would put Manny Pacquiao as a reserved player. Pacquiao, who is now an official PBA player, can draw a crowd of supporters, and it might distort the focus of opponent's team if the Filipino congressman is present during a heated game.
Although Gilas lost in overtime to Crotia in the opening round of 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup, it's not too late for team Philipines to call for help for Pacquiao, an eight-division world boxing champion and now a KIA Motors' playing coach in Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
