Good News: President Rodrigo Duterte is The Most Trusted Leader in The Philippines

By Alon Calinao Dy: I have not imagined that leaders from other countries would give respect to the new president of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte, despite many people who complained about his foul language. And among all leaders in the country, Duterte is one of the most trusted leaders not in the Philippines but in the world according to some reports.

Filipinos normally judge people on the way they speak, wear clothes and physical appearance. What is bothering is the disposition of religious groups who tend to judge people and those they think who are evil and wicked people for their sight. These holy people as they called themselves seemed to forget the Bible verse in Luke 6:37 "do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back to you..."

It is true that Filipinos are one of the most sensitive people in the world. President-elect Duterte has revealed the truth about the old, corrupt traditions of Catholic Church, media, politics, government agencies, police departments and many more. As the popular saying would say "the truth will set you free."

The tough-talking president got the majority trust from world leaders. These powerful leaders around the world have expressed their support to the new administration when it comes to fighting against crime, corruption and illegal drugs. This battle is the fight of all people not only for Filipinos but for other nationals as well since this move will provide security and safety for tourists when they plan to visit the Philippines.

Often it is easy for the Philippine media and TV networks to target President Rodrigo Duterte with his courageous speaking. Instead of helping the new regime or get a helping hand from these perceived bias journalists and TV reporters, Duterte has been criticized based on his foul language and not performances to bring a real change in the Philippines.

Filipinos should allow themselves for healing. The new president wants to make the Philippines a better and safe place for everyone. It is the duty of every Filipino to help the president. After all, this is everyone's dream for their loved ones and the reason why a majority of Filipinos voted Digong because we, Filipinos, fully trust and believe in him. So be it!
