Mayweather Versus Pacquiao Mega-money Fight is On, Not Off

Incredible Hulk Manny, be careful Floyd

By Alon Calinao Dy: Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will meet on May 2, after the undefeated American  announced on Friday that he has signed the contract and agreed to fight the Filipino boxing champ in a welterweight bout at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas.

Flomos (fans of Mayweather) and Pactards (fans of Pacquiao), social media names and followers of these pound-for-pound boxers, are excited about the latest news that these two boxing global icons will finally take the risk and give the boxing fans the mega-money bout that everyone wants to watch.

The two giant TV networks, HBO and Showtime, have partnered each other to get this fight into reality. I said it before in my previous articles that this battle is going to happen because Promoter Bob Arum is not that selfish person at all. Uncle Bob and Mayweather have worked hard together to get it done.

"Incredible Hulk Manny," that's what social media users called Pacquiao when he waited more than 5 years for this boxing match to happen against Mayweather. The Mayweather-Pacquiao fight is once again the most popular talks these days in different social media websites.

I am glad I would be able to see my favorite fighters in the fighting arena. Win or loss, he is still a real winner of this competition. Mayweather is said to get a $120 million and Pacquiao is just $80 million, but it is a really, really huge amount of money because it does not include still the PPV buys from the viewers around the world.

Whoa, they are rich boxing legends!

I respect Mayweather and Pacquiao, and whoever wins this contest. To get to know more about Manny Pacquiao, buy this e-book entitled
