Congressman Manny Pacquiao Rejects To Comment on BBL

By Alon Calinao Dy: Undefeated American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Eight-division World Champion Manny Pacquiao are going to show the world who is the real king of the ring on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, USA.

Sarangani Representative Pacquiao did not his personal judgments about the proposed Bangsamoro Basic Law when he was asked whether he supports or not  the stalled Bangsamoro Basic Law bill. He just said, “Mahirap gumawa ng comment kapag hindi mo pa nababasa ‘yun.”

Pacquiao aims for peace in Mindanao, but for now he can't examine the new bill because he is so busy for his training against the loudmouth fighter Mayweather.

Pacquiao had lost his trust in the ongoing peace process between the government and the MILF when 44 elite SAF troopers died in the a bloody fire fight in Mamasapano, Maguindanao last January.

Pacquiao understood the importance of public security in Mindanao for economic growth and prosperity of the country, but he did not want to support at this time since it's too early to tell whether it is good for everyone or not. He couldn't say 'yes' to the Bangsamoro Basic Law.
