Controversial Win of Miss Universe Philippines Pia Wurtzbach

By Alon Calinao Dy: The world had expected, Miss Columbia, was a rightful winner of this Miss Universe Pageant when comedian Steve Harvey admitted that he committed a mistake about his earlier announcement of the winner.

According to the scorecard from the respective judges, Miss Philippines was the Miss Universe 2015. 

Miss Philippines came to the stage after they corrected the error. So sadly, Miss Columbia didn't feel good about the final verdict because she felt too humiliated in front of the crowd.

Indeed, all candidates were just following the decision from a panel of judges who selected the prize winner of this biggest event.

But the most important thing to consider was the humble act of forgiveness coming from the announcer, as he bravely admitted his mistake, even it means the loss of his job.

In contrast to the sport of boxing, once the final decision is made, one can't reverse the decision of the judges as what happened to the first fight between Timothy Bradley and Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas, USA, in 2012.

Despite the controversial win of Miss Universe Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, the viewers agreed that it was the right decision coming from the examiners and the audience. This is another glory and pride of the Philippines!
