What Will You Do When You Catch Thieves in the act?

By Alon Calinao Dy: Thieves are everywhere. It is difficult to identify thieves because they are in the government, airport, street, home, and almost all places. The act of stealing is when someone gets a belonging without asking a permission. Anyone can be a thief.

In fact, this is the most common problem in the Philippines right now. Some government officials have the opportunities to steal people's money. They take advantage to employ their power for personal interests. They can steal anything they like. Just like the video here. Instead of securing the safety of the luggages, they stole valuable things from the passengers. They totally abuse their authority.

What you can do with it

You can't control it. As I mentioned above, they are everywhere. It is like a simple question: do you believe corruption will end in the Philippines? If you ask me, I think it's hard to say. But for now, I don't think so. But it's your call. Of course, I respect whatever your opinion is.

Anyway, the best way to protect your things is to be vigilant. Yeah. I have respect for those people who march on the streets because they are the eyes of the majority of people when oil prices rise, but not to the extent that they are being paid by some influential people. Thus, the best means to punish thieves is to minimize their opportunities to hold government offices. My advice for you is to vote wisely. Don't let money rule over your principles in life.

Watch these thieves at the airport; I took this video from Youtube.
