How To Make A Beef Macaroni Sopas

By Alon Calinao Dy: Beef macaroni sopas is easy to cook and very common soup among Filipinos, particularly if the weather is cold or extremely cold. I've learned how to prepare this food when I saw my wife preparing this special dish.

This is normally my favorite snack and I love this soup if it is served every afternoon and the weather is wet and frigid. You can cook either chicken or beef macaroni sopas as it depends upon you which one you preferred the most. But for me, I usually choose beef since I can always buy processed corned beef anytime at the local store.

One casserole of beef macaroni sopas

4 pieces of hotdog, chopped
3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
1 tablespoon margarine
1 small cabbage, chopped
1 medium carrot, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 large can evaporated milk
1 medium can of corned beef
1 medium red onion, chopped
Salt and pepper
1 medium garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon cooking oil
3/4 boiled water in a casserole
1/4 elbow macaroni
1/2 sachet of magic sarap

1. Heat the casserole with a tablespoon of margarine and cooking oil
2. Add the chopped red onion
3. Wait to caramelize, then add the garlic
4. Put the corned beef, bell pepper, and 1/4 elbow macaroni; stir well
5.  Add a boil water; wait for elbow macaroni to soften
6. Pour-in evaporated milk, chopped hard-boiled eggs, hotdogs, carrot, and cabbage
7. Season with salt, pepper and magic sarap
8. Add water if necessary
9. If you are satisfied with the taste of your beef macaroni soup, then it is ready to be served to your loved ones.
