Why is Peping Cojuangco Angry at Pnoy?

By Alon Calinao Dy: The uncle of the president, Mr. Jose "Peping" Cojuangco, has withdrawn his support of the current administration and there are rumors that he is trying to have rallies on the streets.

In one of the interviews at the ABS-CBN, Mr. Cojuangco said "Hindi ko gusto iyung mga nagbubulong sa kanyang ginagawa niya," apparently referring to his close advisers. He also acknowledged that he was a long-time ally of Vice President Binay, and that he presently supports Binay.

Mr. Conjuangco has no longer trust with the present government. Does it mean that another EDSA revolution is coming our way? We always have known Mr. Cojuangco for his big participation in EDSA 1 when his sister, late President Cory Cojuangco Aquino, ousted President Ferdinand Marcos in the office in 1986.

Our nation has faced many challenges from previous administrations up to the present. It is amiss to put all the blame to the government when we are the ones who give them power to serve us. We don't need another EDSA revolution, but what we need now is to educate voters that the future of the country lies in our hands to choose a right leader.

Although Mr. Cojuangco blamed Aquino's advisers for all the mistakes his nephew had made, at the end of the day, they are all the same family. This is all I have to say: LET HIM FINISH HIS TERM!
