By Alon Calinao Dy: The tough-talking mayor of Davao City has warned the smugglers of fake rice to stop selling it because if they get caught they will eat all their products. Imagine, this fake rice can kill anyone who consumes it. It is not even considered as a food.
Fake rice allegedly manufactured from China and is sold a very low price among businessmen for quick money. There has been reports that fake rice came from Metro Manila before it was sent to Davao City, but the original source has not been identified yet.
Future presidential contender Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of Davao City has again warned these smugglers to stay away from their place and hide as early as now because the authories won't stop looking for them.
Recently, hundreds were hospitalized due to allegedly poisoned durian candies in Surigao.
Recently, hundreds were hospitalized due to allegedly poisoned durian candies in 6 towns and a city Surigao del Sur. They said that these durian candies came from the vendors of Davao City who also sold mangosteen and mango candies. But no one really knows where is the original source.
I have thoughts about the fake rice, noodles, and poisoned durian candies that it is one way to degrade the good image of Mayor Duterte. It is clear that these strange events are centered only in Davao City as it is politically motivated to attack Duterte's plan in the 2016 presidential election.
Duterte said a couple of times that he is not going to run for president in 2016, but he left this quote " I will keep the door open and keep it open for God to decide."
It can't be denied that Duterte has millions of admirers around the world who urged him to run for the highest office in the government, as they believed that he is the answer to the big problems that our country is now facing like endless corruption, a sudden rise in the number of crimes, and other unresolved killings.
