Carabao is Now One of The Endangered Species
By Alon Calinao Dy: carabao, a farmer's best friend, is now considered as one of the endangered species in the Philippines. Many consumers especially those meat lovers spend too much money in buying this food product in a way farmers tend to sold their animals to the buyers in exchange for the big reward.
Farmers tend to lose the job that they only have once they no longer have a carabao that helps them in cultivating their lands.
Each year, the risk of losing a man's best friend is coming true according to the latest survey made by the environmentalists in different regions of the country.
Although technology is now evident that helps a lot of farmers, carabao is still a cheap way to help farmers on their crops.
My suggestion is to take good care of them as these animals help farmers when they need an assistance in most of their crop plants. Indeed, let's not make them a source of food on our table instead let's make them our assistance in producing more agricultural crops.
