By Alon Calinao Dy: ABS-CBN's anchorwoman Karen Davila is now facing lots of questions coming from the audience for allegedly asking "biased" and tough questions to Mayor Rodrigo Duterte during the last PiliPinas Debate 2016 held at the University of Pangasinan in Dagupan on April 24.
Netizens said that they were not satisfied with the debate as they'd like to see the face off between Liberal Party standand bearer Mar Roxas and Davao City Mayor Rody Duterte or between Vice President Jejomar Binay and Davao City Mayor as these candidates have many things to say against Duterte if the giant network would like to clear out Digong's recent controversial issues.
Davila has been receiving many negative comments about her performance in the last debate. Duterte's followers accused her of being biased against the tough-talking mayor and that she made Roxas look more intelligent with scripted answers for allegedly throwing easy questions.
Following the allegations circulated all over social media, Davila immediately tweeted that "Mayor Duterte is the leading presidential candidate. He can handle the toughest questions."
ABS-CBN admitted that they committed an error for posting a tweet that went viral on social media, but the management immediately edited it and asked a televised apology for what happened.
In this hot and sensitive news, netizens would like to know what are the appropriate measures ABS-CBN must do in order to avoid losing its credibility in front of the viewers and not to repeat the same mistake.
I understand that we all make mistakes in our entire life, just don't make it a daily habit for there's no such thing as an excuse. If it is so, netizens call it STUPIDITY!
