Is The Outgoing President Benigno 'Pnoy' Aquino III Considered The Best President In The Philippines?
By Alon Calinao Dy: Aquino loyalists or yellowtards said that the outgoing president Benigno Aquino III is the best president in the Philippines even though during his term he encountered a lot of controversies from the loss of Yolanda funds to the waste of SAF 44 lives.
What I read on social media are more hateful comments from our netizens than the good achievements of Pnoy. I read a lot of insulting names of the outgoing president such as "Panot" and "Abnoy."
I don't think he is the president that we have had in the Philippines as what his followers are saying that he is not a corrupt leader. I strongly disagree with that because till now no one knows exactly where are the billions of Yoland donations.
I think it is true as what netizens are saying that many of the Liberal Party and cabinet members of Aquino Administration are considered as corrupt. This is going to be unfolded if the incoming president-elect Rodrigo Duterte will have an investigating body to punish those corrupt people.
I also don't believe when Pnoy said these words when he became a president "pag walang kurap, walang mahirap" (if there are no corrupt people, no one will be poor). I think his words did not match with his actions and it's so sad to know that some people continue to be blind with these lies.
Honestly, from the start I used to believe in him. Maybe he's not a person but I don't think he is capable to be a president in the Philippines when Maguindanao massacre remains unresolved to this day. Also, Metro Manila has been called by other nationals as a "worst traffic on earth."
It is only recently that I know that there are so many laboratories of illegal drugs in the Philippines. My simple question is, why it's so hard for the Aquino Administration to stop the rampant drug trade or business in the country?
The illegal drug trade in the country remains one of the national concerns. It's probably one of the reasons why Filipinos can't travel to many countries in the world because some law enforcers are considered as protectors.
Good thing that Filipinos voted the tough-talking former mayor of Davao City Rodrigo Duterte since he is the only one who has a political will to stop crime, corruption and illegal drugs in the country.
