By Alon Calinao Dy: Aquino's supporters are claiming that it was President Benigno "PNoy" Aquino III who was the best president in the Philippines. They are also proud of PNoy's achievements when they said "beat Aquino's achievements."
I couldn't believe they said that. With a lot of criminal activities and rampant distribution of illegal drugs during PNoy administration, I doubt that it's true.
I don't think PNoy has a strong, decisive action against crime and corruption, and the country now becomes the hideout of drug lords who are allegedly proctected by high-ranking police officials.
So who is the best president between Duterte and Aquino? It's so obvious that a few days after taking an oath as a president in the Malacanang, President Duterte has gained more and more supporters because he is "a man of action." He did almost everything he could to fight the country's problems of criminality, corruption and illegal drugs.
President Rodrigo Duterte has projected himself as a true leader of this country. His every word that goes out from his mouth represents hope for a real change thatFilipinos have been longing for. He also shows sincerity and honesty to his work.
So again, who is the best president between the two? This is not even a question to answer, but then it seems there are Filipinos who continue to be blind people despite widespread of criminality, corruption and illegal drugs in the past administration.
I believe President Rodrigo Duterte has won the favor and the hearts of millions of Filipinos around the world. I think Filipinos need one of the best leaders in the world like President Duterte. Drug lords, drug addicts, rapists, terrorists, corrupt, armed robbers, and criminals have no place in this world especially in this day and age.
