Watch Manny Pacquiao vs. Chris Algieri on Nov 22

By Alon Calinao Dy: Chris Algieri (20-0, 8KOs) will meet superstar Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38KOs) for  the WBO welterweight crown on November 22nd at the Venetian in Macau, China.

Algieri, who earned a great respect with a split-decision win over Ruslan Provodnikov last June, still thinks that he is going to win the showdown because of his muscular body and power.

Who uses Rexona Men and who does not? "Rexona won't let you down."

Algieri was a real tough opponent when he fought Ruslan Provodnikov even though he had puffed up eyes, dropped twice, and stunned on several more occasions by the Russian fighter. Astonishingly, he was victorious in the battle.

Manny's fought Tim Bradley twice, and the former rival of the Filipino icon spoke on the TV that it was hard for the American fighter to defeat the caliber of Pacquiao.

Algieri is a good fighter and still a dangerous boxer. That's why he is undefeated until now. But, can he really work over the more dangerous Pacquiao? A lot of American boxing fans believe that the heavy underdog Algieri is not going to win the competition.

Pacquiao has a blinding speed and is more powerful than Algieri that would definitely dictate the full fight. However, let us not close any possibilities that the American challenger has a secret weapon to show in this match. Remember, every opponent is a risk as he can strike and take it all away.

This is a fight that might get you injured or killed, but everyone should know that this is a sport. As much as I wanted an exciting action in this bout, I just hope that no one would get seriously hurt after the engagement.

Manny Pacquiao Thinks Algieri is No Match

By Alon Calinao Dy: Manny Pacquiao is going to face the challenger and undefeated American boxer Christopher Algieri, who defeated Ruslan Provodnikov three months ago, for the WBO welterweight title at the Venetian Macao in Macau, China, on November 22

Algieri believes that he has the physical advantage than Pacquiao. He is taller and five years younger than the Filipino boxing champ. The American fighter thinks he can beat Pacquiao because he has high endurance and power to neutralize the speed of former pound-for-pound king.

Pacquiao, on the other hand, is very confident that he can defend his WBO welterweight crown. He even joined as a Kia Motors' playing coach because he is self-assured that he is going to win this battle. He has fought 395 professional rounds while Algierie has only fought 122.

Algieri has been vocal about his chance to derail the career of Filipino congressman. Although anything can happen in the ring, Pacquiao is aware that every opponent is considered as a real threat. And also, this is a big opportunity for the American boxer, but Pacquiao won't let his avid supporters down. Pacquiao himself knows that there's no absolute peril.

So again, on Nov. 22, 2014, let's see if Algieri has what it takes to be the global boxing icon. If he wins this biggest fight of his career, he can join the same league of elite boxers like Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto, and others.
