Is Mar Roxas Desperate To Win For President?

By Alon Calinao Dy: Critics of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte have many things to say against him, now that he is leading in new Pulse Asia survey and in other recent surveys.

One of the critics of Davao mayor is presidential aspirant  and Liberal Party standard bearer Mar Roxas. 

Roxas said that Davao City is one of the highest rates of crime in the Philippines. However, Filipinos do not buy this story anymore as lots of residents in the city, even tourists, said that peace and stability are present within the area. 

Also, Binay called Duterte a berdugo which means an executioner of people. It's clear that berdugo is different from being a disciplinarian. All these negative comments about Duterte came out when he topped the March 30-April 2 Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

Let's go back to Roxas...

Netizens believe that Roxas is desperate to win for president. He claimed on illegal drugs in Davao City. He said that "I know where to buy drugs in Davao." Again, I am not buying this story anymore because law enforcers in this city are very strict when it comes to this crime. 

Let's not forget what happened during the devastation in Eastern Visayas specially in Tacloban City where thousands of people died last November 2013. To this day people are constantly asking, "where did the Yolanda funds go?"

Duterte is destined to become the next president in the Philippines. He has a POLITICAL WILL to fight against illegal drugs, criminality and corruption in the country. I trust him when he said to voters that "I am your last card."
