By Alon Calinao Dy: Secretary General at Bagong Alyansang Makabayan Renato Reyes Jr. was impressed to President Rodrigo Duterte when the head of the country welcomed militants inside the Malacanang palace who wanted to investigate the corruption of the Aquino regime in connection with the government's discontinued Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP).
Duterte stands to fight crime, corruption and illegal drugs in the country. During his conversation with President Duterte, Renato Reyes Jr. believed that the former president PNoy Aquino was principally accountable for DAP.
For the first time in Philippine history that militant groups were invited by the president to have an informal talk with him to determine the struggle of these activists and know the root causes of these problems.
Reyes and other militants were surprised when the president himself welcomed them for a short meeting. Although it was an informal talk, Reyes and other Mendiola protesters are confident to the new administration that dishonesty from the past administration should answer the allegations of corruption on DAP and Pork Barrel scam including the loss of billions of Yolanda funds and the death of SAF 44.
Reyes also qouted on his Facebook timeline what PNP Chief dela Rosa said "kayong mga kotong, abusado at tamad na pulis, talos na maliligayang araw nyo. Lalo na kayong pulis taga-Maynila na ipinagmamalaking mga ninja na nag re-recycle ng shabu, you have 48 hours to resign."
