More Than 9,000 Drug Addicts Surrender in Pampanga

By Alon Calinao Dy: It's unbelievable but it's true to witness thousands of people in Pampanga who admitted that they are users and pushers and turned themselves to authorities in a great effort of President Rodrigo Duterte to end the problem of illegal drugs in the Philippines.

Duterte has found ways to look after these drug pushers who continue to sell prohibited drugs. He has promised a war against illegal drugs, and Filipinos are now happy with the good outcomes.

After the Mindanaoan president named 5 generals who are reportedly involved in illegal drug trade, Filipinos saw the sincerity of Duterte to end the reign of drug syndicates in the country.

Many of these drug addicts have promised that they won't use illegal substances again after they signed a waiver. So far, Pampanga has one of the biggest surrenders of drug addicts under Duterte administration.

I think I'll expect more and more drug addicts are going to turn themselves to authorities in the coming days as the battle against illegal drugs is not yet finish.

Leaders as President Duterte, PNP Chief General Ronald Bato, and Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II told policemen who are involved in drug trade to stop their operations and to only conduct legitimate operations against drug pushers and drug lords.
